The shooting down of a Malaysian Flight NH17 over Eastern Ukraine is a random act of terrorism. This much as apparent as the agents of the West appear so anxious, without investigation, to lay it at the feet of the anti-Kiev uprising. It fits within a long history of Western-sponsored terrorism in Europe. Sometime read about Operation Gladio. It is official.
In the aftermath of World War II, western leaders, including James Angleton and Allen Dulles from the US and among others from France, Belgium and Italy, conceived “Operation Gladio,” a stay-behind force that was to kick into action should there be a Russian invasion of Europe.
There was never a chance that Russia was going to invade Europe, but they did want a perimeter, a buffer zone, to protect themselves from invasions from the West, the far more common historical occurrence. For that reasons, with boots on the ground in Poland, Czechoslovakia and Hungary, they did install puppet governments in some countries.
Of far more concern to the Gladio people was indigenous movements, foremost in Italy where communists had as much as 40% support in the electorate. The object of Gladio became what was called a “”Strategy of Tension.” From right after the war forward, it’s agents engaged in covert operations, assassinations and random acts of terror. The most egregious acts were the bombings of a rail station in Bologna, Italy in 1980 and the Piazza Fontana in Milan in 1969, and the assassination of Italian Premier Aldo Mora in 1978.
Note that these and countless other acts were done by government agents, a side or shadow government, so that the legitimate government was always constrained in investigating the crimes due to pressure from within. However, around 1990 Gladio was exposed, its agents arrested, and a huge controversy and housecleaning took place in Europe. It was never publicized in the US media.
I urge the reader to avail himself of the rich documentary history of Gladio – it takes some sorting and sifting and weighing, as American sources are normally compromised in their reporting. But it is worth the effort. (I am not linking you to anything. That’s your problem.)
Vincenzo Vinciguerra was part of Gladio and is currently serving a life-sentence for the murder of three police officers in Peteano, Italy, in 1972. The men were lured to a booby-trapped car by an anonymous phone call. This is the case that led to further revaluations of investigation of “Gladio” networks around Western Europe. Here are his words:
Peteano was an act of war, with a very simple motive. the Police Forces, the Security Forces and those political groups which made use of the Secret Services and the Security Forces have manipulated Italian neo-fascism. They’ve been doing this for a long time, ever since 1945-46. Peteano was born as an act of revolt against this manipulation, a retaliation against the state.
When you were on the right, you were not supposed to attack the State or its representatives. You were supposed to attack civilians, women, children, innocent people outside the political arena. For one simple reason: to force the Italian public to turn to the state … to turn to the regime and ask for greater security.
This was precisely the role of the right in Italy. It placed itself in service of the State which created a strategy … aptly called … the strategy of Tension. In so far as they had to get people to accept that at any moment over a period of theory years , from 1960 to the mid-eighties … A State of Emergency could be declared. So people would willingly trade part of their freedom for the security of being able to walk the streets or enter a bank. This is the political logic behind all the bombings. They remain unpunished , because the State cannot condemn itself.
Sound familiar? I had an encounter with Pete Talbot at 4&20 yesterday in which I suggested that NATO and the US ought to be held up as possible suspects in the NH17 shoot down. Ridiculous, he said.
The fact that you are capable of having these thoughts (U.S. and NATO behind the downing of Flight 17) points to what is widely known as “conspiracy phobia.” Just point to one shred of evidence and I’ll pay attention.
This is evidence. Talbot, self-appointed expert in matters of politics, shares a void with virtually all Americans – an information void. He simply has no historical basis for his opinions, as he is a creature of American news and entertainment, and so sheltered from reality. My “phobia” is nothing more than knowledge. That it subjects me to ridicule from the likes of him. It is not his ignorance that bothers me. Ignorance is a curable disease. It is his accompany arrogance. That fries me.
Why would NATO or the US or their agents in Kiev shoot down a passenger airliner?
You were supposed to attack civilians, women, children, innocent people outside the political arena.
This encourages the people of Ukraine to turn to Kiev for protection from the rebel forces.
What evidence is there that Kiev, NATO and the US are behind NH17? Merely history, and worse, the investigation is already compromised by the same agents who probably did the crime, so information will not emerge from formal sources. As I understand it, rebels forces have recovered the black boxes from the crash scene, and have or will turn them over to formal investigating agencies, or the Russians. This event is not going down cleanly, though if you get your news for American sources,it may appear cut and dried.
But as with KAL007, TWA800, Vincennes, Lockerbie, Cuban Flight 455 (bombed by Orlando Bosch, who was given asylum by Americans until his death in 2011, information will only come out slowly in the come g years, and not by official channels who cannot, by definition, investigate or condemn themselves. Gladio redux. In probability, some agents of Western terrorism were probably given up as Gladio was exposed, but the program lives on.
