Tenure is fake … too

My path of inquiry over the decades has been a slow and fascinating journey towards understanding that has more and more isolated me from the regular community. I don’t care about that, not that I like isolation, but rather that objective reality all by itself is a fascinating subject that moves me, thrills me, and gives me reason to keep writing. If I were to walk the path of a thousand clowns, I’d have a thousand followers.

In the comment thread below one guy trying to pigeonhole me, saying that I am only interested in “acolytes.” I assume he meant “accolades.” Were that true, since I am a fairly decent writer, I could attain them. You merely write for the crowd. Dan Brown perfected that technique.

I learn now that James Tracy, a “tenured” professor at Florida Atlantic University, was fired because he openly questioned the shootings at Sandy Hook, saying they were staged and fake. The point here is not that the event was fake. Anyone with a brain who looks at the evidence can easily see that [or at least conclude absence of evidence of an event]. The point is that the puppet masters will go to great lengths to destroy the life of a small man of little impact who dares question our “reality.” The lies and hoaxes are that important to them.

So be it. Tracy was swimming among sharks, in an academic environment and in pursuit of truth at once. The two activities are incompatible. In the Empire of Lies, academia is the seat of conformism.

More important is the delusional state of mind of the average American. I have had discussions with people about fake events like, say, the moon landings, and I merely ask them to look at the evidence. They steadfastly refuse. Why?

Refusal to do so reveals a deep fear – if they were indeed sincere in their belief in our fake reality, evidence would not scare them. They are walking a tightrope, and loss of faith in any of the scores of fake events* now uncovered will send them into free fall. America is not a real place, but it offers security, something to believe in. Do not take that away from them!

So those of us who travel this path into uncertainty, attempting to unravel our fake reality, are of a different breed. We are sneered at, even thought to be mentally unstable. We are but the few left who have the brains, curiosity, and ability to avoid groupthink and grapple with reality. We are not like you, it is true. You should try to be more like us. Show some curiosity, some courage! As Don Corleone snapped at Johhny Fontaine in that famous movie scene, “You can act like a man!” (Yes, movies are not reality.)

For myself, I’ve got a thousand paths to travel, all interesting. The least of concerns is electoral politics. If you think it important to be a Democrat, if you really believe that matters, you do not belong here. As I like to say …

These attitudes you have adopted – I know they comfort you. You are indifferent and incurious about the important events of our times. You are smug about it, thinking yourself wise to be so. But I must advise you that from a distance your attitude is indistinguishable from stupidity.

*The question arises, and a good one – is anyone keeping a record of reality? Is there a real history being kept anywhere? The answer has to be yes, but where, I do not know. Quigley’s Tragedy and Hope was sold to us as a slice of reality, but simple reasoning told me it could not be, that the bankers did not allow him free access to records to do was he pleased. It was a limited hangout. He had overseers.

I would only add “political discourse and blogging” to popular press and highbrow periodicals.

PPS: This article infers that James Tracy is in league with James Fetzer, and maybe “controlled opposition” used to frame the debate around the incident. As always, if you don’t like door number one, there’s a door number two offered us, equally suspect. This would explain Tracy’s high profile in the news media, as ordinarily those who question public hoaxes are not given ink or air time on any media outlet.
