Anorexia nervosa not

Just stumbling around the other day I came across the following photos:

They are of Karen Carpenter, and are, in my humble opinion, fake. They are selling the idea that she was emaciated prior to her death.

On the left the caption says she is at 83 pounds. The problem is that her head does not show signs of anorexia, as supposedly seen on the right. She looks like a bobblehead.  It is a good photo, but I suspect fake, as her skin tone and color is different between head and body. She is posing for an award of some kind, probably having to do with athletics, as her attire looks oddly like a sports jersey. That would explain the cardboard “1,” as the owner of that body obviously placed first in a  sporting event. It sure looks like track and field, where women are often thinned down by grueling training. Notice also that the woman presenting the trophy is looking past her, as if Karen is not there, which may be the case.

Carpenter Carpenter Composite 2The second photo has been stretched out and compressed, the object to give her a gaunt and wasted look about the mouth. The eyes are sunken like a corpse. That is easily shown to be fake by putting it next to the real living Karen Carpenter to the left here. Pupil distance is the same on both sides of that photo. They obviously monkeyed with her image, stretching it out like a plastic sheet.

There are a few other photos like that on the Internet, but on the whole, of the hundreds available, they show a healthy young woman. Karen’s death was probably fake, like so many others. However, she has not, to my knowledge, reappeared in any form. She might have been told to go off and live on royalties from her body of work. She had a beautiful voice, and she and her brother  were a throwback to older, more melodic and harmonic tunes.

Karen Carpenter is not terribly important in the big picture. This blog has been devoted these past weeks to exposure of “Zombies,” or walking dead. These are prominent people who fake their death and reappear as another person. There is purpose to such reassignment, most often having to do with placement of talent to manage opinion and culture. For instance, Bobby Fuller became Bill O’Reilly, Brandon DeWilde Thom Hartmann. Each has a vital, even if small, role to play.

The music business is too influential to be left to chance talent taking it places where our leaders do not want us to go.  Music is a gateway to the brain and soul. Churches use it to keep the congregations in line, and nation-states have songs that bring people instantly to their feet, hats off. A subversive song might incite people to doubt the necessity of a war or reality of a fake event. So music is under control of Intelligence. This explains in part the Laurel Canyon scene of the 60s and 70s, where so many mediocre musicians, children of military and intelligence families, invaded, formed groups that achieved instant unearned fame. They then died off, many reappearing in news and opinion culture.

Karen Carpenter never threatened any state or religion. She merely sang, beautifully, about love and loss of love mostly. But she was moved out of the business, and I can only speculate that it was done because our cultural commissars had other ideas for the direction music was to take. We saw it with heavy metal, rap and hip-hop. Girl singers these days all sound alike to me, and sing about nothing. One song I heard that became a big hit was merely about the bass line. Adele had a huge hit with Hello. Hello? Music is devoid of substance now. Rappers, who can indeed speak to their followers in an incendiary manner, routinely die off. That might be real, but who can tell?

This has been the direction that Intelligence obviously wants to take us with music. In the 1960s they invaded the art world and gutted it, replacing real talent with people like Andy Warhol (Stu Stucliffe) and Jackson Pollack. Art is no longer a vehicle for expression of true beauty or ideas. Like our music, it is shallow and pointless.

The revolution, if it ever goes forward, will have to do so without anthems*.

Anyway, if Karen Carpenter is still alive, she is 66. I wish her well, and still enjoy her music. She was removed from the scene at age 33, that number often an indicator of monkey business, as are her fake photos above.

*The only supposed anti-war anthem to come out of the 60s, For What It’s Worth, written by Stephen Stills and performed by (the Wrecking Crew and) Buffalo Springfield, was about closure of a popular nightclub, and not about the Vietnam war or protests of the day. Stills claimed to be an ex-Green Beret. His cohorts claimed that was a drug-induced fantasy. I tend to think not.

  1. If you think For What its Worth is the only “anti-war anthem” that came out in the 60s, then you are even dumber than you appear. And have absolutely no knowledge of the culture or music of the 60s. You’re just a phony pretender, what with all your fake this, photoshop that, body double switcheroo twin whammies. But at least you’ve found an appreciative audience. You’ve finally found your place in life!

    1. [Regular readers, please move along. This won’t be pretty. A “progressive” blogger who writes tedious, predictable near-sermons to show off his imagined moral and intellectual superiority has stopped by to give me a what-fer.]

Oh, hi JC. Thanks for stopping by. I know what I write here sends you into fits of anger. That’s because it is about evidence and pursuit of truth, no matter where that might lead. I am surprised by our findings, and my goodness, this is unheard of in blogging, perhaps even illegal, but we are having fun! And we are making new discoveries. It’s exciting! Please don’t stop by in the future, as we will be offending your sensibilities. We are sitting on a gold mine of new discoveries, only waiting until we have a full body of evidence to support them.

You’re a small man of small mind, unable to imagine much, and so stuck in the dull, routine and repetitive world of progressive politics, outing right-wingers again and again, failing to understand you’re trained dogs in a circus jumping through hoops without even a command. I stop by your world now and then, and it is oh god so boring. You haven’t imagined anything new or had a new thought in decades.

But then why do I assume you ever did?

Worse than that, but after all this time, you have yet to offer a substantive criticism of my work. You’re just full of poison and put-downs, but have nothing else to offer. This is how I learned to question your basic intellectual capabilities. There is no there, there.

      1. Rather than wasting your time penning replies to lost souls, would not your time be better spent finding more matches of dead people to living people ?

        1. Point taken. JC likes to rattle my cage. I like to bite his fingers.

I did indeed discover another Zombie today, this one a former member of the Crickets, post-Buddy Holly, who supposedly died in a small plane crash in 1964. I sent it out for MH’s opinion, to see if I am all wet. If not, check back Friday.

  2. I mean, this whole anorexia thing really blackwashes Karen Carpenter’s legacy.

I had this thought around a month ago but forgot to post it. I was in the car and a Kid Rock song came on the radio, and despite liking the song, I kept thinking about the ATV accident a few months ago that “killed” his manager. The story was that Kid Rock was the first one to find him and saw his brains all over the concrete.

I started thinking about how horrifying that would be to find. And then I realized “HEY, WAIT A MINUTE! Why am I thinking about brains on the concrete during a Kid Rock song?” That’s when I realized why they do stuff like this with Karen Carpenter, Meatloaf collapsing, Buddy Holly plane crash, Duane Allman dragged 90 feet by a motorcycle, etc. They want you traumatized every time one of their songs comes on. They want you thinking about that traumatic incident, or at least subconsciously connecting something traumatic in your mind every time that song is heard, thus increasing your baseline level of trauma, just a little tiny bit, each and every day.

Pretty much every celebrity has some sort of incident of murder, suicide, drug use, tragedy, abuse, etc connected to them that you have subconsciously anchored whenever that song or movie comes on or their name is mentioned, whether you realize it or not

So really, every time you hear one of Carpenter’s beautiful and many times positive songs, you have that image of gaunt Karen in the back of your mind. They are trying to make her and her music ugly in your mind.

  3. I agree with Straight’s thesis, that guilt by association is in play with these things- Anorexia and bulimia were fad diseases designed to put young women is stasis- Like the anti-smoking ads that are paid for by the tobacco companies to boost sales (when a smoker sees one of these gruesome ads, he calms his nerves by lighting up) The emotional reaction to food being the source of their perceived fatness set off a binge and purge cycle: eating to avoid anorexia, but purging to keep the pounds off- This was, as usual, aimed at the white middle class, the only class below the creeps that still have money to consume with-
As for The Carpenters, the terms “creepy” and “controlling” always attended Richard, even to this day- I have no evidence either way, but I wonder if they were labeled siblings because they were both gay and had to cover that up and explain why they weren’t romantically involved otherwise- His family photos could be rent-a-kids- I can’t say anything beyond reasonable doubt but they were heavily promoted by the creeps (until they weren’t) so they must have made some deal with the devil-
Todd Haynes, the gay director, first got noticed by making a film “The Karen Carpenter Story” cast with Barbie and Ken dolls- Haynes went on to make several women as eternal victims movies- His forebearer, John Waters, had much earlier made a film “The Diane Linkletter Story” about another possible hoax death to get his first notices- Waters stumped for a while trying to get Manson twat-waffle Leslie Van Houten out of jail… rambling….

    1. Not sure on second comment – Karen and Richard are Masons?

Of course, you’ve burst my bubble. I thought with a voice like that Karen might have made it on talent. I’ve never heard a voice that pure in pop music.

Diane Linkletter’s photo is in my file as a person of interest. I have not been able to match her up with anyone. Will keep trying.

      1. I only mention it because why not- The school of thought that obsesses over “clues” would require logging such an obvious one- I don’t know about her drumming as I never saw her play, but her voice was lovely, if the material was kind of a downer to my acne riddled teenage ear- She dated Steve Martin while he was at the top of his fame and his fans didn’t like it- Martin also dated the daughter of Dalton Trumbo- He’s been himself all along but what do you suppose his game is? He vibes as a handler- Going off message here…
