Coronavirus Scare Tactics

This is not a full post, but rather just a reminder to readers to not be suckered in by the fear tactics in the media surrounding the Chinese Coronavirus. All available data suggests a fatality rate below 1%. You should be much more afraid of the regular old flu! They should call it Coronavirus because to get over it, you should kick back and enjoy a Corona or two…

  1. What does this do to the psyche as far purchasing/not purchasing corona beer. Seems it has to have a negative affect for company sales.

    1. You have got to think their corporate executives are freaking out just a little bit. I saw something that said the average person actually sees some kind of connection between the beer and the virus, which is a sad indictment on the state of humanity.

    2. That correlation is very reason TPTB chose 9/11 to be on that very date. EVERYDAY that number is used to remind us that know the truth how they love to rub the feces of lies into the faces of the masses.

      1. The correlation between the virus and beer? Help me out here. I do think that date (9/11) was chosen very carefully, but I’m not catching the connection to this situation.

        1. Young pup. That beer’s name brand has been popular since the ’80’s. T-shirts/billboards/ect. Its already implanted into the minds of the masses over 30 years. It is a familiar name. Before 9/11 the emergency number 9-1-1 was in place. Already firmly in the minds as a serious number sequence. That catch phrase ‘never forget’ is real gem. They must have sold a couple million bumper stickers w/that embossed upon it.

  2. It’s a modified virus which shares some genetics with HIV, biowarfare against the Chinese therefore more virulent to Chinese less virulent to people of other races/ethnicities

    1. That’s very interesting and the stats would seem to bear that out. I saw a figure as low as 0.14% mortality rate outside of China, so the numbers are being boosted by the local deaths, which still aren’t exactly at frightening levels. Very interesting. Why should it hit the Chinese so much harder unless it was designed to?

    2. I don’t know about Corona, but assume that like ZIKA, it is fake and will flash in the pan before disappearing.

Scare rumors that HIV was a virus created in a laboratory merely reinforced the idea that it existed and was dangerous. I know all the debate about existence of viruses and avoid that debate as I sit here on the tail end of a three-week cold, one shared by other family members. Something I do not understand goes on there. I refuse to accept that “viruses do not exist.” Too broad and simple.

AIDS is a real thing, though not a disease as much as a lifestyle affliction. It was first identified in the gay communities of the coastal cities in the 1980s, and was related to that lifestyle that included alcohol, sex with multiple partners, recreational drugs, antibiotics and use of “poppers,” little bottles of alkyl nitrites that when inhaled created more intense and longer lasting orgasms. The resulting immune system breakdowns created a group of symptoms that was labeled AIDS. It had nothing to do with HIV, a harmless passenger virus we all probably carry.

The decision to blame AIDS on HIV was much like that to blame “global warming” on CO2, political. It was a propaganda campaign done to scare the public, and even to create a illusory pandemic where none existed. Where I often see that these public scare campaigns involve only fake deaths, it appears as though real deaths were created by the AIDS hoax, though not by the disease but rather by its cure. People diagnosed as “HIV positive,” like Magic Johnson**, were given AZT, a deadly chemotherapy drug that did not work on cancer, but was repurposed. AZT created declining health and deadly symptoms in patients, and eventually killed them. Use of AZT in Africa, along with sterilization, is one of the most grotesque criminal conspiracies I have ever seen. Racist too. Bill Gates is a moron, most likely, but also a monster.

If you are ever diagnosed as “HIV Positive” (or score a high PSA on a blood test, another hoax), run, don’t walk, to the nearest safe house. You are not in any danger from anything save the medical establishment, which will kill you with its remedies.

**Johnson was advised by unknown parties to get off AZT, as it was slowly killing him. He did, and made a full recovery, and is apparently allowed to lead a normal public life so long as he clams up about what was done to him. This reminds me of the fake deaths of Rock Hudson and Freddie Mercury, done to emphasize that AIDS was real and deadly. They needed some high profile deaths to enhance the propaganda campaign. Johnson got a reprieve.

      1. Just wanted to be a fan for a minute and tell you that your HIV paper is what drew me in (kept me coming) to POM in the first place. You make a strong case, and if we had a Hall of Fame, that should be in it.

        1. Thanks! Made my day.

I’m going skiing now, as we had a huge storm these past two days that weather forecasters did not anticipate, that is, its behavior was unpredictable. They said 2 to 8 inches, we got 18. I70 was a mess going up to Vail, so skiers were left out in the cold.

Fortunately, Colorado road maintenance people are very good at their jobs. They keep this state running.

  3. Month after 5G is turned on in Wuhan, ‘outbreak’. Back in Oct Bill Gates aka GHOULS INC. simulated a pan (deity) pandemic & came up w/a number of 68 million dead. Said Ghoul was recently grated another patent for a vaccine. Georgia Guide stones.

  5. Here is the classic fear mongering. The doctor who “blew the whistle” (whatever that is supposed to mean) was reported as being dead this morning. Turns out it was a bunch of nonsense (Edit: the media changed the narrative back to “dead”, the article below previously said “near death” AFTER he had already been reported dead). But they sure got great shots of him looking sick in a hospital bed! Way to go media, keep pushing that line. Don’t let reality stop you. I’m reminded of one of Maartens first posts, where he gave a first-hand account for how the media tells the story it wants to tell, and reality has almost nothing to do with it.

The hospital in China immediately refuted these reports, so now he is just “near death”. Uh huh.

    1. This image was still running as of 3:30PM on 2/6 on Yahoo’s main page, and ran unchanged from this morning’s death report. Hmm, almost like it was known today was the day he was going to die?

      1. It would be interesting to know when that picture was taken, it could have been taken months ago, right? … Which brings me to ask you what in your opinion makes a photograph a valid evidence? Just picking your brain here… Photographs have been doctored almost since they were invented.

        1. Quit derailing. The topic is his death being fake, the script getting ahead of itself. Why would the WHO and state run media report a man dead without confirmation unless it was fiction?

          1. Derailing? Far from me… The point of your article is clear and I am not arguing against it. It’s just that the first thing that came into my mind was that one: When that picture could have been taken? But OK, I get it… if any of you ever tackle that topic on a full fledged article I will bring my ideas to the table: Photographs as valid evidence and doctoring of photographs since the XIX century.

            1. I definitely agree. The story seems to be a complete fabrication…I only meant to say that I don’t think photo manipulation is a particularly relevant topic on this one. I’m still amazed by the sloppiness of this guy’s fabricated death. The WHO was clearly ready to roll, then someone spilled the beans and said no, we don’t have a record of his death, but then the script narrative was rammed through.

    2. Update: After adament denials from the local hospital in response to the report of his death this morning, he is apparently now being reported as dead again this evening, with a period in the afternoon where it was claimed he was alive. This death is highly suspicious in that there were immediate counter-reports, and then suddenly back to dead? This doctor died twice today, apparently. Did someone jump the gun on reporting the news??? The script called for his death today, but somebody locally screwed up and wasn’t in on the game.

      1. Now, reports that he was ever “near death” have been memory holed. I cannot find them, even though it was reported this way when I made the original comment. The article from my original comment was changed from when I originally posted it.

      2. Here is one of the sole surviving reports about the conflicting reports. All links have been updated to simply say he died, but there WERE denials immediately. The script may well have gotten ahead of itself.

Gee, why would the WHO and state run media report the death of someone who wasn’t confirmed to be dead? Hmmm……..

        1. First tweet is especially important, the BBC was explicitly told that he was dead at 9:30AM, then for several hours of the day local media reported that he was alive. The WHO had reported him dead long before his miraculous rebirth. The whole story stinks to high heaven. Why would there be conflicting reports about whether he was dead or alive unless this was just a fiction being made up, and someone moved to the next phase too early before they had their ducks in a row?

Statistically, a fit and healthy doctor should not be among the 2% local fatality rate. Something funny went on here.

      3. https://qz.com/1798421/questions-swirl-after-china-attempts-to-censor-news-of-whistleblowing-doctors-death/

Mainstream outlet has picked up on this one, but as far as I’m concerned they have it backwards. The state run media wasn’t trying to censor his death, they were the ones pumping it out when there was no actual information on the ground that he was dead! The “truthful” report here was someone on the ground likely innocently saying that no, they don’t have this guy in the morgue. Then state run media dramatized it as “fighting for life” as damage control, and ultimately went back to “dead” because it’s what they reported all along. Did this guy even really exist? Was his identity fake and he was just an agent? If so, they can “kill” him (give him different assignment) any time they want. This is 1,000x more likely. And by the way, the WHO was complicit in all this.

  6. My wife (who hates my interest in conspiracy theories) opined yesterday that she would believe a theory which supported the idea that the Chinese government created this epidemic for the sole purpose of shutting down the Hong Kong protests. Who can march in the streets if there is a mandatory quarantine? And how else could the ChiComs stop the protests, short of blood?

I must be rubbing off on her …

    1. Having had time to think, I prefer this explanation. What better way to implement martial law without SEEMING like you’re implementing martial law? In a way, it’s smart. It also explains why the virus is more lethal to Chinese, yet still not very lethal. They just wanted a local boogeyman. A casus belli of sorts.

And I’m still convinced the doctor Li Wenliang story was a complete fabrication from start to finish. The guy joined the Party in medical school, had poorly explained conflicting death reports, and then was supposedly cremated before anyone saw his body. Sounds like a fake death to me. A government with as much control over information as China would be able to say just about anything without fear of being outed. If this doctor is more convenient as dead, then simply report him as dead. His family (if he’s even real) can’t out them even if they know he’s still alive. And maybe he was in on the charade from the get go.

  7. I work in a medical complex and everyone seeking care is asked if they have had symptoms and if they’ve traveled to China in the last month. As this is Frisco, many Asian people around town are wearing masks. I didn’t ask but I suspect anyone admitting to being in China recently is required to be screened for the Beer Bug before any other exams commence. This is standard policy here. In my tenure here, going back to SARS, this place is required to treat these stories as gospel truth. And money changes hands as a consequence. Good for the economy, you see.

    1. The sad thing is that this flu season has killed 10,000 Americans already. The mortality rate of the coronavirus outside of China is extremely low, far less than 1%, and enormous efforts are being made to contain it. The media is driving their narrative regardless of the reality on the ground. Not to mention the fabricated death stories like the one we saw yesterday being driven by the WHO and Chinese State media. The media really makes itself look like such a clown on this one. What is more interesting to me is why the WHO would be complicit. That implies something more Sinister than just the media doing its regular clown show.

  9. I called this event a hoax from the outset and my opinion has not wavered since then.

Ebola, Sars, Swine Flu, Bird Flu, Blues Clues Flu, you name it, you tell the masses it is coming, you tell the masses ‘we don’t really know where it came from’, and hot diggity, you got yourself a 3x return on your cheap useless facemask investment.
