Russian ‘Alpha’ Special Forces team-veteran and vice-president of its International Association, Aleksey Filatov, believes there is more to the case than meets the eye. He emphasizes, firstly, that the origin and religious beliefs of the suspect, along with the specifics of the bombing, have all been carefully pre-meditated and planned by someone within the United States in order to distract the public from the true identity and long-term aims of the actual planners.“Putting a young Chechen in those shoes was top-notch professionalism in distracting everyone from the true identity and motives of the planner. The executors were chosen to confuse the American public and simultaneously untie the White House’s hands in a way that would justify a departure from the rhetoric of non-involvement in military action on foreign territories.”
Wisdom after the fact is useless, and predictions of the future a fool’s errand. But if Syria is not the objective here, then I need to go back to school. The conflict there, fueled now for two years by NATO and Israeli arms and terrorists, is a proxy fight with the Russians. They are the ultimate loser if things go well for the terrorists and their sponsors. Putin is, unlike Obama, a real leader with real chops, and generally Russian leaders are excellent chess players, never signaling a move in advance, never rattling swords.
So in retrospect use of Chechins as patsies makes sense – they are both Russian citizens and Muslim to boot. That’s my wisdom after the fact: the usual suspects for Americans to hate, and a message to Putin. Brilliant!
What good is it to know that our rulers are crass barbarians? What good is it to know that our journalists are either in their pay or too slow to understand the game? What good is it to fret over the fate of millions of innocent people about to be rained upon with missiles, white phosphorus, metal fragments, their corpses pissed down upon by our bravest youth? What good is it when all you get is the smug indifference, the blind loyalty, the insolent arrogance of befuddled Americans? We are inured to barbaric treatment of foreigners – so long as we don’t actually see the pictures. That was the lesson of Vietnam – never show suffering. Just fly that fucking ugly flag and play that godawful music.
Not much good, I suppose, but the choice is that or to succumb to indifference. So before our latest killing spree, I think of the the words of Anton Chigurh’s victims – “You don’t have to do this, you know.”
And he wonders, “Why do people always say that?” In the corrupted moral framework of our psychopathic leadership, the Syrians are accountable. Their crime? In the eyes of our public, being both Muslim and alive. In the eyes of our leaders, no crime, no concern. They don’t matter. They are merely in our way.

On March 6, 2012, Reuters reported from nuclear talks in Seoul: “This is my last election … After my election I have more flexibility,” Obama said, expressing confidence that he would win a second term. “I will transmit this information to Vladimir,” said Medvedev, Putin’s protégé and long considered number two in Moscow’s power structure.
A little context: The United States and NATO have allegedly been trying to lure Russia into a cooperative role in a controversial anti-ballistic shield project allegedly involving Romania, Poland, Turkey and Spain. Turkey’s battery of anti-missile-missiles are either being installed as we speak, or are already in place on the Turkish-Syrian border. Next move is (or was?) Puten’s. Who’s sending messages to whom? I dunno’!

For clarity here, there is no such thing as an “anti-ballistic” missile. That’s a euphemism, as every one put up merely requires one more missile to overcome it. The US is, without provocation, ramping up the arms race again. It’s lunacy.

Highly unlikely. Not their style. This has American shadows all over it.

If it was the Russians they would have blown up an entire apartment complex and blamed it on the Chechens as a pretext to reinvade them to prevent secession and unify the population behind the new strongman vladimir.

Again, not their brand. I would more likely follow a path of Al Qaeda operative backed by American intel than any Russian source for that bombing. The Chechnyan uprising, cui bono, would more likely be an attempt to create another breakaway republic on the Russian border.

So the us was also responsible for the 1999 apt bombings in Russia that Vladimir used to cement his rule for the past fifteen years and counting? You would think Vladimir would be more thankful to the us. Of course you know that the Russians were actually caught red handed planting the bombs themselves in one of these incidents before it could go off but I’m sure there is still some way to blame this on the all powerful CIA.

No doubt other countries, other governments, have their own crimes to answer for. The Russians have a long history of their own.
But setting off bombs to stir up conflicts, these days, is an American habit. 1): Our government is infested with fascists. 2): The Afghanistan invasion in large part was staged to project American forces into Soviet breakaway republics.
So combine our fascists with staged bombing with stirring up a hornets nest in a potential breakaway, and yes, I suspect the US was behind that bombing.

Can you identify a bombing or some other terroristic type attack that’s taken place in the last ten to twenty years somewhere (anywhere) in the world that you don’t believe the US was secretly behind? Im serious.

No doubt there have been plenty. But I tend to focus on the ones that Americans do. Please understand that setting off bombs that annoy the largest military force in world history is non-strategic, unintelligent, and hugely benefits the US. Ergo it ought to make sense to you that rather than hoping for such events, the US merely creates them.

It makes zero sense for you to claim that the US staged or sponsored these bombings to fool the wily “chess” player Vladimir into invading Chechnya. For one…while I am not quite the charter member of the Putin admiration society as you but the guy was the head of the FSB at the time and there is literally no chance the US could sponsor or pull off an attack like that (in Russia) without starting a nuclear world war three. There is no way. Ignoring the obvious conclusion that there was infighting in Russian elite circles at the time, already a hornets nest in Chechnya that needed no assistance from the US, and the gain that accrued to Vladimir (as a result of the bombings and subsequent invasion of Chechnya) to make the absolutely ridiculous claim that the US did it is really topping a new level even for you. Love the blog but come on man…even the most die hard conspiracy theorist could not take this seriously. Just once id like to see you let go of your bias and personal prejudice and admit that the US is not (or at least is not capable) of being responsible for every single bad thing that has happened in the world. It would give you a lot more credibility.

the US would never directly threaten a country that is strong enough to strike back. Use of Al Qaeda for that purpose makes more sense. Do you not remember that the US used them in the 1980’s (then called Mujahadeen) to,lure the Soviets into Afghanistan? Post 1990 the US made huge strides in projecting military power on Russia’s southern flank, and Chechyna is in a prime location as part of an encirclement strategy. Drawing the Russians in there may not be a trap, but it certainly makes sense from a standpoint of trying to sap their forces.
So I have no problem imagining that the US would use Al Qaeda to stage an attack there. The Russians did not need a reason to attack. If they wanted to do so, they would just do so. It is their territory, and they would be defending it.

I do not know what facts can be known. In the opaque system in which we all now live, can anything be known? There is occasionally some reporting and information worth considering, however. It is indeed a puzzle palace. The big picture is a general pattern of internal disturbances that are designed to keep the American public at a high level of agitation, with a cover-up apparatus working behind like the sweepers behind a parade. It’s impossible to know who among the so-called conspiracy theorists (people unwilling to trust authority figures) who is real, who is an op spreading disinformation. Once something like Boston happens and the patsies are in place and the news media has convicted them in the eyes of the public, there’s little that can be done.
Sad but true. The National Security State owns the public mind.

They also probably own the private mind as well, if they want to go to the trouble.
That six part series Evidence of Revision was pretty interesting. I think is was part 4 that dealt with Jonestown. I was amazed to learn their was no physical evidence of suicide, but rather a lot of evidence of mass murder. I found some old Mae Russel recordings from her radio show and she was doing broadcasts 2 weeks after the event on how, in her opinion and based on her research, the camps purpose was mind control experiments and or medical experiments.
Jonestown came into being soon after the CIA was forced to disclose classified info on mind control experiments conducted at civilian hospitals around the country and in Canada under MKULTRA. They claimed to have shut the program down, but how would we or anyone else know if they did? They could have just outsourced it to Guyana.
So when i was listening to NPR the following morning and multiple people talked about what a kind, gentle, funny, and truly nice guy the 19 year old suspect was just the previous 4 years in high-school, i had to wonder what changed him so quick into a ruthless cold blooded killer. I’m still wondering.
This sight here has some very interesting FOIA CIA documents on MKULTRA and related CIA programs. http://www.wanttoknow.info/mindcontrol.
Another interesting insight I had from Mae Brussel was when she mentioned that Mark Lane was the attorney for the People’s Temple. Mae said she’d known Mark for years and thought he was a complete asshole. She mentioned some conspiracy conference where he had attacked her for her work on mind control. He claimed there was no mind control in the US and anybody who said there was was crazy. You can find it on youtube if you search her name and cia mind control jonestown.
Then, looking a little more into Mark Lane, I found that he was considered the first and the preeminent Kennedy Assassination researcher. He was also willing to embrace almost any theory or notion no matter how flimsy if he thought it pointed to a conspiracy in the Kennedy assassination. A lot of his assumptions and discoveries turned out to be disprovable. He turned assassination research into a cottage industry. Similar in many ways to Steven Jones and Alex Jones when you think about it.
