Scary Times …

When Americans get scared, as will happen now that there was apparently a snake bomb on a plane (some dude tried to pull a Vincennes on us), several things happen.

1) Non-white people who choose to fly generally have seats open next to them, and so can fly in more comfort than the rest of us. (If they want to scare us off, they just make eye contact. However, they must be cautious, as that could cause patriots to go all “Let’s roll!” on them.)

2) White Americans go native and get all defensive and say things like “Why do they hate us?!” (They really don’t know – be patient with them.)

3) People die. They pull a Vincennes on us, we pull shock and awe on them. After a bunch of Saudis attacked us back then, the U.S. invaded Afghanistan, Iraq, and Denmark. This time it looks like we are going after Yemen, but Hugo’s number could be up too. And if I was Peruvian, I wouldn’t exactly be all comfortable. The whole world is vulnerable right now.

The Empire will strike back. War has been declared. Enemy to be decided soon.

  1. Reminds me of WW2,

When the Germans dropped bombs, the Brits and Yanks took cover.

When the Brits dropped bombs, the Germans took cover.

When the Yanks dropped bombs, everyone took cover.

How things change and stay the same.

    Good post, Mark.

  2. When Americans get scared

You mean feminized beta males living in monochromatic enclaves who blame America for everything because, well, they’re afflicted by this.

Non-white people who choose to fly

There are not that many in this country. That terrorists target high end white people stuff speaks to where the building blocks of this society emanate. One reason the Concorde stopped flying was that a big chunk of their customers were killed in the 9/11 attack.

    “Why do they hate us?!”

You worry too much about people liking us. People should respect us.

    1. A certain 2000 crash may have had something to do with the Concorde’s demise.

Who gets scared? Right wingers. Part of their makeup. Just is.

The “terrorists” generally come from countries we happen to be attacking, Go figure.

      1. The Concorde was on its way back prior to 9/11. Ironically its full on test flight post crash was on 9/11/2001.

I suppose fear and paranoia are universally distributed, but I see more of it on the Left. When talk show host Randi Rhodes had a mugging incident, the Left blogs frantically cooked up CIA/military/corporate stooge plots that would have made Art Bell fans proud.

We’re attacking Saudi Arabia? Seems to me a chunk of the terrorism we face comes from certain well to do religious ideologues with lots of leisure time and an attitude.
