  2. I am not sure which is worse, altered perception or short memory, but you seem to have problems with both.

Now, my perception and memory are pretty good, and I recall you spending months, if not a year, touting the Democrats and the Magic Mulatto to all your lefty friends, while of course denigrating the other party and its candidates. My perception then was that you were a dyed-in-the-wool liberal Democrat.

However, as the election approached, or shortly thereafter, you turned on your pinheaded little friends and began insulting them for their election choice. And you have continued to insult them ever since.

    No wonder they hate you.

    1. You’re angry, right? The rio grande thing? All you have to do is read the titles of posts over the time period in question. God knows ivwiuldn’t ask more. That would be cruel. But you’ll see merely inner turmoil. I don’t have answers. Injust know that pwoggies do not comprehend power.

      1. I am not angry. I am having a good laugh at your expense and the others of your ilk. You maladjusted adolescents got just what you deserved.

First, you were suckers for the affirmative action and diversity slush taught in the public schools. That blinded you to the fact that you were supporting a Muslim monkey leading a herd of dry cows.

Next, being lifelong losers and extreme underachievers, you easily identified with candidates of the same type.

Last, your deluded belief that your failures were not your own fault made you susceptible to a charlatan who promised revenge against your imagined oppressors.

I am still laughing all the way to the bank. How come you have no sense of humor and are still complaining?

        1. You presume a lot. I don’t know if it every does any good to demonstrate to you that you are wrong about anything, but here are two posts written long before the 2008 election that are prima facie evidence that I was distrustful of Obama even in 2007. Later you will find that I got sucked into his advertising campaign, and because I wanted to believe in him, suspended disbelief. Then you’ll find that I quickly abandoned him when he appointed the right winger Rahm Emanuel as CoS.

Not that you are a man who can be reasoned with.

          1. I think everyone who has read your posts over the last five or six years agrees with me. And I do not see anyone disagreeing with me, except you, of course.

So you found two posts in your own blog that disprove your complicity. Out of what? Out of hundreds that show you aided and abetted the election of the worst political leadership this country has seen in decades? And what of the hundreds of posts you wrote in other Montana blogs?

I think anyone who has been following your tortured and confused interpretation of American politics lately knows what you have done: You helped create a political disaster, and now you are pretending that you had nothing to do with it. Worse, you have the unmitigated hypocrisy to condemn those who were persuaded by your earlier way of thinking.

At a minimum, even if you will not admit to your personal guilt in this debacle, you ought to lay off insulting your erstwhile friends, all those “Democrats, liberals and progressives” that you mentioned. After all, they are embarrassed enough without you rubbing it in.

Yes, I can be reasoned with, but I will not be fooled with.

            1. When you are right, you are right. But about this, you are wrong. First you insult me by saying that they all hate me, and then tell me that I’ve been sucking up to them all these years. In fact, and I know myself well enough to say this, I’ve not been a good or reasonable Democrat since the mid-to-late 1990’s. I ran for legislature in Billings in 1996, and then within years of that was an active member of the Green Party, collecting signatures for Ralph Nader. More than a thousand.

              1. Geez. This is just like going to Confession for you, isn’t it?

OK, give us ten Hail Mary’s, five Our Father’s, go back to blogging, and sin no more.

                1. Very proud to have worked for Nader. Very sorry to have voted for Obama. Very proud not to have voted for Senator Bennet and Governor Hickenlooper. Would you please just admit you are wrong about me, and not even sin no more, but just sin a little less?

    2. Magic Mulatto? really? OK. I would say died-in-the-wool any political party shows lack of critical judgement. Besides the socialists or even social- democrats aren’t likely to win any time soon. In the US you aren’t given much choice. That’s because the it’s a pseudo-democratic oligarchy. Not a pluralistic, participative (modern) democracy. Unfortunately most Democrats an Democratic leadership can’t see beyond the box and instead stay in it and try to appease the serpent coiled up in the other corner. Obama’s not magic. He’s a snake charmer.
