Enjoy the day!

Elections do have consequences. But who is to know what is in store? Take 2000, for example. Al Gore was a deeply dishonest man, George W. Bush deeply stupid. What was in it for us? Quite a bit as it turned out. 9/11 came about due to people put in key positions by Bush’s election, though many of the moles were already in place. The people who did that crime are still there, still in key positions. The US is a scared-silly country, but even knowing that, and knowing that our fears of non-American terrorists are unfounded, American terrorists do scare the shit out of me. These are some really evil dudes.

Had Gore won, would 9/11 have been avoided? Delayed? As I understand it at this time, always subject to modification based on new information, Bush was told that day that he was expendable (that was the reason behind his being hung out on display in Florida without adequate Secret Service protection). His choice was to capitulate or die. Since he is a craven and cowardly man, he capitulated faster than you can say “De plane! De plane!”* If Gore were that man on that day, what would he have done? Perhaps he would have thought about it a little, and then capitulated.

We don’t get to know speculative outcomes any more than the facts behind actual events.

Our elections at that high level, however, are not about candidates. Factions are at work, oligarchical moneyed interests fighting for positions of power. None want anything resembling greater good – the president will appoint thousands of people to critical posts, and those people will dispense favors and engage in corrupt activities to benefit their factors. The president will read speeches and preside over gatherings. We are so far gone down the path of corruption now that it is hard to know where one or the other faction is going to give us any incidental (or accidental) benefit. So voting, if one chooses to engage in such an activity, is a crapshoot.

So enjoy the day, monitor the results. Laugh about it shout about it … understand that in the age of electronic counting machines controlled by private entities, there’s not a shred of a guarantee that we’ll get an honest count. Ireland recently junked all their machines, selling them for scrap metal value, and went back to hand-counted paper ballots. I’m half Irish – maybe they’ll take me back? My better half?

I was allowed to witness a fleecing operation, though I was not allowed in the trailer itself. Even then I thought it an entirely appropriate representation of American elections.

  1. Don’t you think Gore was given the word when he decided not to fight the Supreme Court decision that gave the election to Bush/Cheney. Cheney was certainly the key player in that deal. I would guess Cheney knew beforehand about the attack on 9-11.

I did vote today. We don’t have machines where I vote.

    1. I find it hard to believe that office holders like Cheney also have time for the extensive planning this event required. There are maybe 30 or more people and scores more moles, but the impulse to focus on one man is not useful in my opinion. That said, Cheney is sooooooo a sociopathic personality. He is pure means-to-ends without consideration of any human consequence except, perhaps, to his offspring, as even Don Corleone wept for Sonny.

Re Gore, public persona, he could have acted out of good intentions if he is stupid, fear if he is a coward, or complicity if he measured risk/reward. He is of no consequence.

  2. Whats the basis for this: “Bush was told that day that he was expendable (that was the reason behind his being hung out on display in Florida without adequate Secret Service protection). “

    1. Ha! Someone actually reads this stuff! I think it pointless for you to dabble, however. You are jumping to the end if you ask this question without questioning every other aspect of that day too. Otherwise, it is an anomaly.

Nonetheless, here we go. After eleven years, we pretty well know what was done, how quite a bit of it was pulled off. “Who” is open for speculation.

Administration officials in DC were not fooled by any notions of hijacked airliners on 9/11, and realized that the country was undergoing a coup d’état. Bush, unstable and intellectually challenged, could not possibly be part of it. Under normal circumstances, as soon as it became clear that such an attack was underway, Bush would have been physically removed from his location, and put under safekeeping. Instead, he was left at the school in Florida, his location publicly known for 45 minutes. He was a target. If indeed hijacked airliners were flying about, one could have hit the school. Secret Service did not do their job.

At 10:30, the Secret Service received a message saying “Angel [Air Force One] is next.” The message contained the code name for Air Force One, changed daily. Other sources say that it contained nuclear launch codes, meaning that the actual coup leaders were speaking, and that they had very high security clearances. Bush wanted to return to DC, but since his security was compromised, his handlers put him on Air Force One, and headed for Offutt Air Force Base in Nebraska, where SAC is located. (He went via Louisiana for a refuel stop, as AF1 was flying low and using excess fuel.) During that flight AF1 was threatened by other planes of unknown origin. He left Miami without fighter escort, as they did not know who to trust.

Once at Offutt, no one could steal his identity and order a nuclear launch – and things began to settle down. But the coup masters had spoken. Thierry Meyssan, Debka (who eventually claimed that the launch codes had been leaked to Al Qaeda, preposterous) and Namakon, former Soviet intelligence officers have repeated this story. In addition, elements of it were even given over to the American media in the aftermath of the attack – Administration officials, including Ari Fleischer and Condoleezza Rice, confirmed hat there was indeed a threat to Air Force One that contained secret code. The Bush Administration later backed away from everything. But I choose to believe what was said during the tragedy.

Did he fold the tent? He certainly did not resist. The invasion of Central Asia and Iraq followed. That’s all I can tell you.

      1. I think I found the source you’re referring to for this. It is interesting and intriguing stuff. Would make a good movie but a bit fantastical to say the least.

        1. I said it was pointless to dabble, as it would seem like an “anomaly” to you, lacking the full picture of events of that day. Now you tell me it is “fantastical.” Of course! Can’t much help you.

Dylan Avery was a young film maker and decided to make a movie about 9/11, not a serous work, but rather a work of fiction, and for fun. He had to do his homework, and stepped into it. He could not beleive what he was seeing. Suddenly his movie was no longer fiction. He called it “Loose Change,” and it went viral.

The movie is from 2006, long outdated and superseded by new and better research. But the point is that people assume, as do you, that it is all much ado about nothing, that we are just tin-foil people, that we are making mountains out of molehills. Then you step onto something fantastical. Don’t know what to tell you.

          1. Lulz, “Loose Change” was always fiction and made for entertainment. The other side of the coin is that people like you are always stumbling around latching onto the new and latest conspiracy theory of the month that fits your confirmation bias of the events of 9/11 (ignoring how the previous numerous theories you have subscribed to are all soundly discredtied) thinking THIS..THIS is the one that is going to hold up. That being said…I have dabbled in this latest theory and find it intriguing and fantastical but have not decided its fiction. I am genuinely intrigued and plan on visiting other tin foil sites to learn more. All Ive seen are some interesting theories plastered out there to explain strange occurences and coincidences but the theories themselves are really just speculation. Connecting the dots but there is no meat on the bones so to speak to support the connections.

          2. Jeez you can dish it but can’t take it? I don’t have evidence to prove or disprove that a secret cabal contacted gw and forced him to invade Iraq or capitulate or however you want characterize it. I said it’s intriguing. I think it’s a bit over the top in that I don’t think it would be necessary to get the govt to do what it did. The simpler and more obvious explanation is that bush and the rest did it willingly. I don’t think he needed to be threatened with death to invade Iraq and start a new round of endless wars. He was probably happy to do it. I’ll dabble some more though.

            1. You’re the one that got insulting. Bush was just a man, a low-quality one at that. The message was not about him, but to the executive branch, saying that we are here, embedded, look what we can do, and you cannot stop us. We own your news, we shut down your defense system. We can take out your president at will. The president is just a man. It’s about “the executive branch.” Bush had nothing to decide, as he was never in charge anyway. It was much, much bigger than him.

            2. It sounds compelling and does make for a great story but its just not logical. Since we are going on gut feelings here (because thats all the theory really is) Id have to stick with the notion that no message or threat was neccesary to the president or anyone else to get them to do what they did. If there is some “cabal” in existence they were already long in place.

              Like

              1. First, forget Bush. I should not have implied that he in any way is anymore than a figurehead. Now imagine that you are a group of very smart people n control of the executive branch. You see the entire national defense establishment shut down, the Secret Service compromised, the television networks spewing a made-for-TV reality show, and you get a message containing top-level secret codes telling you that your figurehead can be killed this moment.

That is called a coup d’état.

                Like

              2. Right, I get what you are saying. Although the source you are relying on for your information does think intimidation of Bush the individual was neccesary. What I’m saying is that these people were already in charge so no coup neccesary. There was already a ‘cabal’ running our gov and there has been for decades. But i know what i dont know, and I dont know.

There are definite clues that can be constructed to fit that narrative, particularly the way the different speeches can be characterized while he was flying across the county and the subtle change in the stories as time went on etc. But i dont think you can discount that some of it can be chalked up to genuine confusion, fog of war and rumor. To me it just doesnt pass the smell test that there would be a ‘cabal’ that would need to pull of this ‘coup’ to accomplish their goals, assuming by goals we are referring to the various middle east adventures and starting new round of militarism in the united states. The cabal already running the administration, the executive branch, did not need to be convinced to do these things they already were predisposed. Maybe if you or your source could articulate some alternative goals that the alternative cabal would have in mind that the ‘cabal’ already running the executive branch would not have favored the whole cabal vs cabal thing would seem more convincing.

  3. Former General David Petraeus, now CIA director; the next Zbignew? “Poppy” Bush II? Just in time for the great civil unrest at home? Every once-sovereign country is Greece, or Pakistan, now.
