Snuff film soon to be released by Pentagon?

Imagine this: The US, secretly behind a covert attack by terrorists and death squads on Syria, is also looking for a reason to overtly attack the place, Libya style, sacrificing tens of thousands of innocent people, destroying the country in order to save it. So they announce a “red line,” or use of chemical weapons by the Syrian government, as justification for an attack. It is couched as a warning, but the whole sentient world knows at that very moment that the US is supplying chemical weapons to the death squads, and that there will soon be an incident.

The gambit has failed twice before, eliciting guffaws of laughter in the UN and Russia. The latest incident, far more serious, has as many as 3,600 people seeking treatment (according to Doctors Without Borders). Somewhere in the background in Washington, champagne glasses are heard to clink. This one is really going down, this time we’ve made it look real. Unleash the bombers, start murdering people by boatloads. Syria is ours!

It’s a dangerous gambit, and the Pentagon has likely gamed the whole affair, calculating the number of missiles, sorties, targets. The propaganda branch is busy creating the official line, and the media is reading the script, ready to seriously pronounce the serious situation, repeating every serious talking point seriously while, perhaps, if that stupid, seriously believing their puppet masters.

The hard part about these scams when they go down is the ease with which the American public eats it up. Since Obama is a Democrat, his party faithful will line up for their … damn … almost said KoolAid. (Must avoid that popular bit of jargon, as we don’t really know what happened at Jonestown either. We never really know much of anything until 50-60 years after the fact.)

Nothing is real in the national security state except one thing: Death. Many, many innocent people who happen to live in a place that our planners think we should own will die horrible deaths.

Guess I’ll go get some popcorn. Another snuff film is soon to be released. (This is an emotional post, I know, but I am feeling the same moral sickness as when the bombs were released on Iraq, appalled at the utter barbarianism of this fucking country.)

  1. It didn’t have to be this way. Nov. 22, 1963. The day democracy died.
