From the mouths of …

As usual, the true worthy commentary of the day comes from comedians.

The Strait of Hormuz, I never went so fast from not knowing something existed to talking about it all the time since the air fryer. (Jimmy Carr)

  1. Seems like nobody knows anything today. Everything changes all the time. This morning I read something like: Israël (to me Israhell is closer to what it is) wants to destroy Palestina and Libanon (more names will follow soon). This evening I read: US, Israel and Libanon sign a draft for peace.
I don’t know anymore who’s telling what to whom. It’s a mess and it’s most probable that that is exactly what “they” want “”us” to believe. Whoever “They” and “Us” might be.

    1. Agreed, you have a to be a real masochist to watch the news – how stupid they think we are and the shit they try to sell.

      1. I have long noticed that television sets were made available and affordable to everyone from wealthy to trailer park inhabitants, and that they seem to have lasting qualities. When I was a kid TVs worked but the operating mechanisms, channel changing dials, quickly degraded. We used a vice grip on ours to change between two available channels but it still worked.

These days everyone has a flat screen. The quality seems durable far beyond most other products which are so cheaply made they wear out in short order. My interpretation is that this is the means by which mindless entertainment accompanied by indoctrination keep people in a state of the ignorance and tension at once. It appears of critical importance that this access to the minds of each and every one of us be made readily available.

As I noted at a family gathering, TV does not induce just belief, but instant belief. It is the means by which the masses are kept in a state of mindless brainwashed passive acceptance of false reality.

        1. Of course. TV info is sacred. “Of course it’s true man, I just saw it on TV!!”

I hate the thing, have always hated it and will always do so. And more important: since say 911 I never watch TV anymore.

Man, the time you gain to do things that matter, it’s huge.

Well, if anything really matters, that is….

    1. Years ago I stopped following the news, but the nonsense keeps dripping through, no place to hide. Like Snoopy said: One day I climbed over the fence, but I was still in the world.

      1. Thats good. But theres always the World Cup for some cheap honest entertainment !

But seriously are other people here surprised packs of grown men walk around sporting the shirt of their favorite footballers – like these old men you see wearing the full uniform. Frankly it looks ridiculous to me, as a grown nan I am not going to act like a 10 year old fan boy. Which it seems is another mission of TV, to keep the majority lf men boys.

    2. It seems like “chicken feed,” just something to keep anyone who believes it spinning their wheels, trying to figure it out.. while the real players and plans are unknown to us, behind the scenes.

What do you or others think of Miles’ take? I don’t remember anything he wrote about it offhand, except some quip about “do you really think the British Empire/ oil majors would turn over that region to a bunch of goatherders”.. and he pointed out some organization or entity that seemed like a cloaked form of a previous power in the area, representing continuity of control from the previous era. I’d like to read the official history of the end of British rule and the creation of Iran, not very familiar.

Snoopy’s view reminds me of a Woody Allen interview I heard. He dismissed all politics and activism and such as minor compared to enduring existential problems that would still remain even if anyone achieved some sort of political utopia.

      1. Well you are aware of the Sykes Pichot agreement The Sykes-Picot Agreement (officially the Asia Minor Agreement)was a secret pact between Great Britain, France, with assent from Imperial Russia. It planned the partition of the Ottoman Empire during World War I.

In other words French, English, and the Jews (palestine). They chopped it up like a flatbread pizza you get at a trendy restaurant, with all the irregular slices.

Perhaps his time in Arabia gave him perspective on realty in comparison to the false narratives he was brought up to foster.

His adoption of a mentally damaged persona, I believe, was to cover up the fact that his earlier life was as a British agent in the intelligence industry.

I also do not believe he died in a motorcycle accident. He was an asset for the first big one but would have been a noose around Britain’s neck the in the 2nd big one. He lived out his life living anonymously as a gentleman on his huge estate in Ireland, is my take on it.

            1. There are not enough estates to house all of the fake deaths. Is there a community, a commune, a place where they live among one another? Do they apply for residency? I wondered this when I saw Rob Reiner depart the scene in an obvious hoax … where the hell is he leaving for? Our friend Tyrone has suggested Santa Catarina in Brazil, intriguing, a European colony in a lush beautiful land.

  3. Amen brother!

TV shows of the Yellowstone variety present Montana as a cowboy haven, and cowboys in jeans wearing Stetsons riding horses and working fence lines. Picture this instead, an overweight 30-60 guy, big belly and long unkempt beard wearing a t-shirt featuring a sports team or rock band.

Their treatment of Native Americans … another subject, another day. But I get tired of the whining! Sure, they were displaced by Europeans, suffered immeasurably, but there’s no going back and that is history of the world 101, the strong displacing the weak. It’s universal.

  4. I found this pretty interesting – her thesis is that many people who pontificate on geopolitics view it in black and white terms – either, there’s a masterplan, or – all is chaos, no one’s in control. But, the middle ground is correct – there is a planning process, via many connected players and institutions, running iterative plans that continually get revised as they meet friction. Global planning, she says, is no different than municipal planning, just on a larger scale.

Perhaps this is rather obvious, but she lays it out nicely and people do tend to black or white thinking. I’m always baffled that people seem to have no comprehension of global planning bodies, think tanks, etc at many different levels as she lays out – and consider it “conspiracy theory.” Like wtf? This woman is a total “normie” academic type, but people just have some denial of bureaucratic planners even existing. Or maybe just sheer ignorance.

She accepts the mainstream narrative as real it would seem, and yet there’s a lot of plausibility and sophistication to her analysis. It would be interesting to combine a fakeology perspective with this kind of “bureaucratic realism.” It wouldn’t hugely surprise me if a lot of these functionaries and bureaucrats are unaware of fakery, and are acting on an imaginary world – which mostly works, because other people are imagining the same basic thing. But other parts of the empire, as she calls it, are of course aware, and especially at a higher level, so can adjust accordingly as part of the whole “iterative process”..

    1. Covid belies the possibility there is a middle ground. And having worked in corporations long enough, and countries are just giant corporations- don’t fool yourself- its all top down, there is zero to little negotiation with your “orders “. The leaders of nations know that by now, maybe 300 years ago some compromise was allowed due to the slowness of communication. But today? Uh no, sorry Charlie, take orders or be gone

      1. She’s not saying the organizations don’t follow orders from the top, but executing plans always meets with a complicated reality on the ground. They have to iterate in response to feedback from the system, it’s dynamic. Nobody can just wave a wand and erase all the inertia of history, culture, religion, etc. They have to work within those constraints, or play off them, and work long term in their overall strategic direction.

Thus, there’s no plan, as she says, but rather a planning process… And pundits either see a perfect masterplan working flawlessly (as I guess you do?), Or total chaos ergo no one’s planning at all.. both too black or white.

        1. so what’s the plan? The families stay in power forever? Interesting to see if they have imagination about anything . It appears a lot of them (elites) lose their mind chasing religions. It does appear we live on a prison planet so to speak. In that regard they, the elites, probably know not much more than us curious folk on this obscure blog. I do think they have to deal with a lot of groupthink unlike us free agents here. So therefore i do believe they stick to the most conservative course and imitate times past, as Tyrone and others have suggested, keeping the stories the same and in control. In that regard covid, in the future, will just appear as another mysterious Black Death type episode.

Remember when he got the boot over his run-in with Bush? And that weird “what’s the frequency Kenneth” story that somehow clung to him as a weirdly defining moment, whatever it means..
