Calmer minds prevail …

A while back, in a fit of angst, I said that a certain commenter who goes by the name “W******”, aka Rod Kailey, would not be allowed to post here.

That was a wrong. My bad. I was angry at him. He is welcome here, as are Max and Eric and even Crisp and Budge, Fleischman and everyone … it’s a party, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing. Banning is the a sign of both intellectual insecurity and a controlling nature. I shall never forget W.C. Fleischman’s words to me before he banned me:

i command you to silence yourself …

Kinda says it all, ya think??

I hereby decree that all formerly banned bloggers and commenters are now free to leave their cells, congregate with others, speak their minds. Merely print the pass at the right here, and then if you continue to find yourself unable to post at LITW or 4&20 or any other tooly Democratic blog (it is a Democrat thing, this banning), merely link them to this post so that they can see that your rights have been restored. Have them contact me. I will COMMAND that they let you back in. They are decent, law-abiding folks. They’ll let you back in.

    1. Oh, I did that on purpose. If I am logged in to WordPress, my comments over there are automatically deleted. I don’t know what else they flag me on, so I changed the link to my name to a web site that has the lyrics to “The Little Creep”, as that is what comes to mind when I think of W.C. Flesichman, who calls himself “problembear.” He is creepy.

    1. I mean, the two guys who have banned me, Stevens and Fleischman, are like effeminate in the extreme. Is it kind of like repressed femininity. I’ve got no problem with effeminate guys, as like Gore Vidal says, it’s not a coin but a circle with different faces, but geez, this banning seems to come from the feminine quarters.

      1. First, let me just say that I like anyone who uses the phrase “sand in the vagina.” one of my favorites.

Second, yes banning someone from the little personal fiefdoms we call blogs is kind of a juvinile… Especially the “command”you were given. With that said we humans are social creatures and we self select who it is we congregate with all the time. Banning someone from something is pretty regular in the real world be it at a private golf course, the boy scouts, a political convention, or a private business not allowing homeless people inside. These real world examples make this little ego trip of who banned who at what blog seem even smaller to me.

Finally, to me the post has an element of tongue-in-cheek humor to it and more than a little ego boosting, manly by you taking the high road so that you can make PB look petty and small. Though I don’t know the history between all of you and I’m sure PB feels justified in his own mind for his words and actions… As do you.

Still… This little turf war seems to be a waste of energy.
