But the authorities have brought this on with decades of deception, unnecessary secrecy, endless cover-ups and real crimes against the public interest. No wonder we can’t distinguish between plots on every corner and a skeptical attitude toward disturbing behavior from authority.

Are you doing the lumping thing now, because I see crimes that are committed with impunity, that I must also worry about my safety and believe in spooky stuff? I’m only interested in crimes, the National Security State, heightened tension, management of public opinion and neverending wars.
Do you believe in terrorist cells, Muslims plotting againt us, hijacked airliners, a guy in a cave, Chechens blowing up people for no reason, guys who lose their legs and only grimace …?
Not me you that should concern you. I’m not the one drinking the Kool Aid. In the meantime, there’ll be another event soon, hopefully with fake victims too. They seem to happen at 3-4 month intervals, and probably none in August as it’s a bad time to introduce a new product.
BTW, a bunch of a prior amputees in Boston got prosthetics. That’s a good thing.
