Grizzly deaths

Comment

Treadwell wavingI was not prepared to accept this comment from XE on first reading. It sat uncomfortably even as I know I can be fooled, and have been time and again.

I watched the movie Grizzly Man in 2005, and we met Timothy Treadwell at a lecture in either Bozeman or Billings, Montana. That created personal interest. What I wrote before was the result of twelve-year-old memories.

Back then I did not watch movies with a discerning eye. I still thought jets flew through  buildings like a knife through butter.  I thought that elections were real, that news was essentially a (distorted) reflection of reality, and that a movie labeled “documentary” by its makers would be an honest enterprise.

I had to watch the movie again, and did yesterday afternoon.

And now for something completely different

Steve is a man in his mid-thirties, married with a young child. He expresses himself well. He is a bit of an idealist, that is, he uses words like “authentic” in describing people and looks for meaning behind things like mini-malls. (Idealism is always about “What does it mean? What does it really mean?”) He’s aware of reputation, how far words travel, how meaningless Facebook friendship can be.

He is apparently feeling some stress, as we all do, at having to produce a constant flow of income into his household to keep it afloat. He realizes this will never end.

POM and the MSM

Family duties of late has exposed me to television on a regular basis for the first time in  ages- The show I find most amusing is from NBC- Timeless is the title of the show and it’s a reimagining of the old 60’s lunacy, The  Time Tunnel, from ABC-

I will not belabor too much at the risk of the collective readership’s forehead crashing through the tabletop in a narcoleptic seizure but I do want to let TV-free readers know just how reliant TV is on conspiracy culture these days-

Matt Damon impersonates Tom Brady on Kimmel Live

I was passively watching a rerun of Jimmy Kimmel on Tuesday while fiddling with something else, when he announced that New England quarterback Tom Brady was on. Right away I thought spoof, and as the door opened and a fully clad football player walked out, I instantly knew, even before the big reveal, that it was Matt Damon.

This is Your Mind on Super Bowl Commercials – Part 1

The Super Bowl is one giant social engineering wet dream. The entire country sitting around a television glued to the commercials, completely oblivious to the psychological effects being beamed on them. I decided to break down each commercial one by one and discuss exactly what they are suggesting to you and how they are affecting you. By the end you will realize that every single one of these commercials is made by the same centralized committee. Madison Avenue is one giant spook operation. My suspicion is that even if you had the money to pay for a Super Bowl ad, they would not allow yours on the air unless it was made by a “pre-approved” ad agency.

How Deeply Sports is Scripted

With the Super Bowl last night, there is a lot of interest on Conspiracy boards today about game fixing and scripting. Most of it is on a pretty shallow level of the onion (“It’s all about the money, man”, “It’s just the refs”, “It’s just a couple players”). I made some really long posts in the comments section of old articles that have gotten some interest online. I decided to put everything here while scripted sports are a topic of debate so it can be found easily.

The Curious Case of the Jerusalem Truck Attack: Notes on “Operation Fantasy Land”

On January 8, 2017, a resident of the East Jerusalem neighborhood of Jabel Mukaber plowed his flat-bed truck into a group of IDF soldiers getting off a bus near a promenade overlooking the Old City. Or did he?

Surveillance footage surfaced showing the moment the truck slammed into the soldiers and was broadcast worldwide. When I saw that video, I was skeptical, to say the least. Don’t get me wrong: the Palestinians have more than enough reasons to want to drive over a gaggle of Israeli soldiers. But there is a wealth of evidence that most, if not all, terrorist attacks are hoaxed, especially those of recent years. And if the IDF footage of the Mavi Marmara raid is anything to go by, I had good reason to suspect hanky panky here as well.

So I put together a post with a slam-dunk case showing how and why the footage was fake, fake, fake. I was about to post it, but then…something really unexpected happened that forced me to question everything.  Continue reading “The Curious Case of the Jerusalem Truck Attack: Notes on “Operation Fantasy Land””

The Hitler Project: Pasewalk Idyll

(Inspired by Mark’s look at the boasts of Captain McCain, I offer another war hero holy wound contrivance)

The author is certain that Adolf Hitler (No middle name) was a fictional construct put   together by a joint force of British and German intelligence agents for use as a lint catcher for the evils being planned under the guise of a second world war by the Anglo/American alliance and their assets in Germany, Russia and Japan (Italy, you were never that into it, were you?)- Multiple actors played Hitler during the course of the character’s life- One was used as a spy, another as the public orator, still another as a liaison between Intelligence and the German High Command- Other actors were employed for various purposes, such as the Hitler on the review stand- Or the meet and greet Hitler for foreign dignitaries- There was a Hitler for any occasion- All that was required was the undercut hairstyle, cow lick and Chaplinesque ‘stache, so taken was the public by the trumpeted integrity and independence of the international press that sold this wanker and his three stooges, Himmler/Goering/Goebbels, as “real” people-

Escape is always made available

Today is Inauguration Day. I have been having improper thoughts lately (I should go to confession), one of which is that such grand delusions as coronations are necessary.  People need to imagine they elect their leaders. Why we were given a clown like Donald Trump, why we were forced to choose between him and an even less qualified person, is inside baseball stuff. I don’t know that answer.
