I thank commenter Big Swede for bringing this one-minute video to us under another post. I knew it existed, I had heard it discussed on a podcast or something, and then forgot about it. In it we see the real Greta Thunberg, clueless, uncomfortable, and having no script to read. She’s got nuthin’.
Afterthought on Cosby
I did some research into the matter of Bill Cosby and his alleged drug-induced rapes in an earlier post, and thought the whole matter to be a hoax, though Cosby’s participation left me scratching my head. Recently Miles Mathis added a twist, suggesting that perhaps Cosby is deep in dementia, and so had no clue what was going on around him. That has legs, in my view.
Absurdity
Dear little Greta Thunberg being Time Magazine’s “Person of the Year” is testament to the bankruptcy of our news media, left with only a false front of supposed credibility in place of any honor or diligence. It’s like Barack Obama or Al Gore being given Nobel Peace prizes (I suppose Greta is in line for this too) for either doing nothing or for lying to the public … it shows us just how corrupt our major institutions are. If there is a prize to be had for honor and integrity, it is Diogenes and his lantern in search of an honest man. He is still searching.
Climate Change and Dunning-Kruger
I’m currently immersed in a book called The Deliberate Corruption of Climate Science by Tim Ball, PhD. Ball is a Canadian climatologist who was sued by Michael Mann, the SLAPP-happy climatologist whose pseudo scientific masterpiece, the Hockey Stick, was featured in IPCC publications and Al Gore’s movie. It took several years, but Ball won the lawsuit and Mann (or the forces behind him) was forced to pay all legal costs. The reason why the Canadian court ruled in Ball’s favor was simple: Mann was not genuinely pursuing the matter, and was apparently only suing Ball to make his life difficult. Ball is featured in a post-ruling interview here.
Get it down
I have a new computer, and am faced with the onerous task of transferring what is on the old to the new. In the past I have simply moved everything, no effort required. But now as I approach my 70th year, I am for-real retired, and want to do some pruning. With advances in mechanical capacities, each of us is given enough computer memory to easily contain everything we’ve ever written or photographed. Most of it is forgettable, but with computer memory, it is stored. I want to live a good long time, so don’t go morose on me, but having experienced the passing of my entire birth family, I realized that with their deaths go their computers and every memory stored thereon. Only things on paper survive.

The Bill Cosby Accusations

Rape is a serious crime. Drugging someone without their knowledge is considered assault. Drugging someone to have sex is considered both aggravated assault and rape, and should result in a serious prison sentence, as much as thirty years plus ten, or forty per offense.
At the end of this post is a list of women who were assaulted, drugged, and of whom 26** were raped by Bill Cosby. Only three of sixty cases were reported to police, none involving rape, including that of Andrea Costand, which recently resulted in Cosby’s conviction. That case could result in three ten-year sentences for Cosby. He is currently age 80.

Is Libra the U.S. dollar’s executioner?

http://landdestroyer.blogspot.com/2019/11/libra-facebook-wants-to-control-your.html
Tony Cartalucci has just published a gem worth a look. Social media giant, Facebook, is the visible leader (face) in a crypto-currency revolution that has the capability to combine information control and financial control in one neat little package.
“Imagine Facebook carrying out a similar campaign to their current one of political censorship, but with an added monetary component – not only removing the West’s political opponents from their social media network and effectively silencing them, but crippling them financially by freezing their accounts and denying them access to the massive digital global economy they hope to create and control through Libra.”

The following comment is from “Allen” and posted at Moon of Alabama. I noticed it because it was reprinted in whole at Reptile Dysfunction. I have not paid much attention to impeachment because I don’t know the script, I don’t know what surprises they have in store. Whatever it is, it does not affect our constitutional republic, since we don’t have one anyway.
The Democratic Party plays an indispensable role in society’s political machinery. This doesn’t mean it has any power, in terms of controlling the state or setting policy. It means that without the existence of the Dem Party, the US could no longer maintain the pretense that it’s a “democracy.” If the Dem Party disintegrated, the US would be revealed for what it really is — a one-party state ruled by a narrow alliance of business interests. …

The new DeLorean is here!
Something about Elon Musk makes me uncomfortable … he’s the Al Gore of technology, a moron in a silk suit. He’s a frontispiece for others with hidden agendas. When I saw his SpaceX rockets landing after launching, I thought any idiot could spot a video run backwards. Not so. People eat that crap up.
