Happy slaves

Dear Valued Patient,

We are delighted to share some very encouraging news regarding the reopening of the Conifer Dental Group.  Last Monday, Governor Polis announced the transition to “Safer-at-Home” from “Stay-at-Home” which is set to expire on Monday, April 27th.   One provision of “Safer-at-home” is the return to routine dental treatment and we are so very excited about the prospect of seeing you again and resuming your care.

While the actual date upon which we will resume your treatment remains unclear we want to assure you that it is drawing near.  Our dental team is spending a tremendous amount of time upgrading our infection control protocols to comply with new CDC standards designed to minimize your exposure to Coronavirus 19.  These changes are quite extensive and your visit will have many different new facets, including screening patients prior to the appointment (as well as staff members throughout the day) and a travel pattern aimed at reducing congestion in the office.  It is our goal to provide you with the safest possible dental environment.

One of the variables in determining our reopening date is personal protective equipment (PPE).  As most everyone has heard, the Front-liners have required a tremendous amount of PPE and supply lines are only trickling as a result.  We have received much of the equipment needed to move forward but some things remain on backorder.  Thank you so much for your encouragement and support during this unprecedented time.

Stay safe and healthy!

Dr. Wilson and the Conifer Dental Team

Coronavirus corner

While I have nothing new to add concerning the Coronavirus hoax, readers and commenters might. So this space is reserved for that purpose.

We had a trip planned to Glacier Bay, Alaska this coming July. We were informed by the hotel in Gustavson this morning that the area will be closed for the entirety of 2020. This can only mean that the people who did this to us do not plan to just quit and let things go back to normal after April. They mean to hurt us, and continue hurting us until letting us up will seem a time to give thanks. Even when they do let up,  keep in mind that precedent established, they can do this again any time they like.

COVID-19 is a Common Cold

So what does that mean about the mortality rate?

Another day, another upside down media presentation about COVID-19. A Stanford study finds that the actual number of cases is 50-80x more than the official statistics show. The media presents this as more scary information for the public. The Surgeon General of the Navy referred to the fact that 50-60% of people are totally asymptomatic as the “secret power” of the virus. It’s the same old propaganda of reversals…the weakness of the virus is the strength of the virus.

War is peace. Freedom is slavery. Ignorance is strength.

CLAG – the Columbine Lifetime Actors’ Guild

I think it is time to move on, that is, we’ve fleshed this virus hoax out enough. I’ve had my fill, anyway. We all know what is up, and on those things where we don’t agree, I am right and you are wrong.

Something else happened during all of this that just thrilled me.

A young person, whom I will refer to as “it” to avoid gender identification, approached me via email. It had been curious about Columbine, things did not add up. It had been around to various blogs and in bringing up its doubts found it was booted and banned. Who needs government censorship when we the people take care of it for the government. ? It stumbled on my work on the matter.

An open letter to Senator Tammy Story and Representative Lisa Cutter

Dear Readers:

I suggest that if you do this with your own representatives, you do so by certified mail and return receipt, and not electronically. I am of the opinion that emails to representatives, so easy to write and send, are also so voluminous on the receiving end that they are ignored. I am addressing this to Story and Cutter, as they are on the lowest rung of government above cities and counties. I don’t see much power below these two.

Who will save us from those who want to save us?

Have you ever known someone so arrogant, dismissive and smug as to be intolerable company? We all have. I could name two here but it would be a cheap shot, and each would say they never come near this website, even as one is known to do so. (The link there is, I suppose, a cheap shot. This guy is intolerable.) The other, long retired from a high perch in Montana broadcasting, is not Mathis. Don’t go there.

The reason I bring this up is that the attitude, the mask they wear for the world, hides deep insecurity. These people are extremely unsure of themselves, and so use dismissive arrogance as a defense mechanism. Their group of friends usually consists of admirers, and in the case of the one I am thinking of who is also a Montana blogger, a fellow writer so deeply stupid as to be immune from any criticism. He’s textbook Dunning-Krueger, beyond reach. That is the kind of support they bring, and detractors there are quickly banned or dismissed.
