Music Maestro?

https://www.usdebtclock.org/ Check this out.

The national debt just jumped higher than ever before. Music maestro! Gold medal.

During the Obama era the national debt was a daily topic of concern at the Heritage Foundation — the leading “conservative” think tank. Many AM radio mouthpieces hammered home the risk to our economy and our individual households, especially to “our grandchildren,” who will apparently be responsible for paying it all back. And in Congress, especially among those House and Senate members self-described as members of the “freedom caucus,” the national debt was tops.

Well, as it turns out, debt is our business, our only business. The debt plantation just got bigger. No surprise. I haven’t figured out a proper theme song, but am soliciting suggestions as we merrily wander into new (debt) territory. No worries, mates. It’s an I.O.U.

Pssst – there is no virus. Don’t tell anyone. They get really angry.

I set out yesterday to centralize all of the links I’ve come upon about Coronavirus. I have a mild case of stenosis, caused by too many years hunched over staring into my computer screen, the CPA’s affliction. Only too late I realized I should have been standing with a workbench in front of me all those years, and not a desk. Literally, looking at all those links was a pain in the neck.

This morning AB with this link took on the task himself. Thank you, AB, and thank you for everything you’ve done up to now. All of my work yesterday was poring over links that you provided.

Foreshadowing, thanks to Dr. Spielberg

The crazy things I do … I never saw the movie Close Encounters of the Third Kind, at least while it was in theaters, during the time when there was no home video. I have never sat through it since either, as when I attempted to watch it I found it too frantic and intense. But I recalled one scene, and so last night rented the movie, and sat through it, endured it until I reached this scene. I recorded on my iPad. I did not watch the rest of it.

Draw your own conclusions.

California dreaming …Covid-19 cases that have no origin

AB (Fakeologist) has been doing an outstanding job, offering a treasure trove of resources. Among his many links supplied is one called 35 Sources showing the COVID19 / corona virus is over hyped, and likely fraud. Within that paper are a host of not only useful, but interesting, even gripping links. From that source I am reprinting below a portion from #5 of the 35 (actually 37) taken from TheDoctorWithin newsletter.

Reporting on how Santa Clara County had 4 new coronavirus cases reported, which then became 20 and then 60, the writer got curious and decided to run down all of these cases. Pick up there in the narrative from that newsletter, which I hope I have permission to quote:

Covid-19 is classic agitation propaganda

Ir occurred to me today as we were out and about that what is going on around us is classic “agitation propaganda,” or “agitprop.” How could I not see this? It is a classic fear campaign. Amazingly, if you put the word “agitprop” in a search engine, you will find that it is something that they used to do in the Soviet Union. No mention is given to its existence here even as right now, this moment, we are in an intensive and psychologically aggressive agitprop campaign.

What is the purpose of agitprop? For that I consulted Jacques Ellul – I took many notes years ago from his 1965 book Propaganda. His statement of purpose is somewhat sobering (covered in pages 70-74):

Calm down, please …

I’ve been alive nor for nearly 70 years. That’s pretty damned lucky, as I see it. I have outlived my three older brothers who died at ages 58, 68 and 69. Young people have a fear of aging. I know I did. But it is not so bad – I rather enjoy it. I am retired now, and busy all day every day with new projects. I rise in the morning knowing that no one on the planet can make any demands of me. That is just pleasant. I wish for all of you that you reach this stage of life, and enjoy it as I am enjoying it.

Physically, I am not a specimen – maybe that is one of the fears of aging. People don’t want to look like this:

Young Jack

Poor Jack. It appears that at a certain point he just gave up. I am surprised he is not wearing sweatpants.

Mutations Matter

Zika virus is found in Brazil and other tropical countries. One mutation in the Zika virus is responsible for dramatic consequences in its hosts.

“With the understanding that SARS-CoV might be with humans for years to come, knowledge of the evolutionary mechanism of the SARS-CoV, including its mutation rate and emergence time, is fundamental to battle this deadly pathogen. To date, the speed at which the deadly virus evolved in nature and the elapsed time before it was transmitted to humans remains poorly understood.” https://bmcevolbiol.biomedcentral.com/articles/10.1186/1471-2148-4-21 (June 2004).
