Golden Mantled Ground Squirrel

We live in the mountains and have a back deck that is, at its highest above the ground, about twelve feet up. There are many benefits of living here, and some problems. One of those is these things called Golden Mantled ground squirrels, and chipmunks. We cannot grow anything down on ground level, as these creatures will eat anything we put out there. We have managed to put out Russian Sage, as they show no interest in that particular plant, but everything else is quickly toast.

Everyone who lives up here has the same problem. The best solution is planters up on the deck that are large enough that the critters cannot get  up and in them. That seems to work. Other solutions are sonic devices that supposedly disrupt their nests and force them to move away. Last year we tried these, and noticed that chipmunks would perch on them while they observed the horizon. In other words, they do not work.

They do not like water, and I delight in standing on the deck and surprising them with a burst from the hose. It brings me such joy to see them scatter and hide under and in rock walls.

Native Americans Need Not Apply

Dutton Family Home on Yellowstone Ranch

We’ve been watching the TV series Yellowstone these past couple of weeks. It’s well-acted and the writing is intense, violence always threatened to break out anywhere. The series is supposedly set in Montana and near Bozeman. Indeed some of the street scenes are of Bozeman, meaning a movie crew did some filming there, but without the actors in the series.

The series stars Kevin Costner as owner of the Yellowstone John Dutton Ranch, a massive complex that appears to be located in Paradise Valley near Livingston, Montana. In real life, the outdoor sequences were filmed near Darby, Montana, a small town located near the far western border of the state. Indoor sequences are shot on massive sound stages in Park City, Utah.

A research project

Here’s a research project for anyone who wants to take it on:

As early as 1833 [sic*], Konstantin Tsiolkovsky had calculated that a rocket would work in the vacuum of space. The man was a visionary, detailing many of the requirements of the space-age which would only begin to take shape decades later. In 1895 he published an article postulating space travel as a possibility and in 1898 published findings that were to be of the greatest importance: namely that liquid propellants would be more efficient than solid propellants and that of these, a mixture of either oxygen and hydrogen or of oxygen and kerosene, would be most suitable for rocket engines. Expert texpert

Two years ago in March I was on a bird walk with a group of people, and was just coming to grasp the intensity of the propaganda storm that was coming our way. I still believed in “viruses” per se, but not in Sars-Cov-2 and said as much as I walked along with the group leader.

He said “Are you a scientist then?” He was implying that mere mortals were not qualified to express any doubt about “scientists.” I was not prepared for that question, and my “No” response cost me the argument. I was flummoxed.

I haven’t watched news for decades, but I do know that news readers emphasize that certain people they interview are “experts.” What does the word even mean?

One with the special skill or knowledge representing mastery of a particular subject.

That’s the official definition. But I don ‘t think that is how the word is used in practice. In real life, I think the definition of “expert” is as follows:

A person whose opinion relieves all others of the need to think.

That is how experts are used in the news media. They don’t bring in experts to clarify, as in any matter of complexity, there are going to be differing views. Then, as with Dilbert above, it is up to us to decide which expert to trust.

Singer, and Drugs: The Systematic Prohibition of U.S. Drug Science, by Trevor Burrus, printed in the book Scienttocracy (page 125 et seq), edited by Patrick J. Michaels and Terrence Kealey. Stanley is a research fellow at the Cato Institute. He received his from Brooklyn College (CUNY) and his MD from New York Medical College. Burrus is also a research fellow, working in the Cato Institute’s Robert A. Levy Center for Constitutional Studies. He holds a BA in philosophy from the University of Colorado at Boulder and a JD from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. All that follows until you run into the word “OK” is from Stanley and Burrus, thereafter from me.

Cybernetic Conception: ROEing on the Blockchain, WADEing in Tokenized Water

[Writer’s Note: This is not an opinion piece on the pros and cons of abortion (it would be an understatement to assert that it is a complicated issue, see here and here), nor speculative with respect to who may be responsible for SCOTUS opinion leaks. While it is healthy and necessary to self-reflect on matters of immense significance — such as the conception and development of human life — entering into related debate keeps us in polarized states of mind and behavior. Watch here and here for a savvy perspective offered by my dear friend, Alison McDowell, on the real agenda and the intricacies behind potentially forced and contrived polarization, involving the strategic application of signals intelligence (review accompanying slideshows respectively, here and here). My aim is to explore deeper inquiries into the 1973 Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision (striking down state laws restricting abortion), and potential upcoming counter-decisions (Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization), such as: How do events surrounding Roe v. Wade fit into the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR), the Spatial Web, and the World Brain agenda? Why now?]

Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR) technologies and the Cryptosphere (cryptocurrency, blockchain, tokens, DAOs, and NFTs) are relevant to assistive reproductive technology (i.e., in-vitro fertilization/IVF), and may also have relevance to the natural progression of pregnancy (regardless of being deemed wanted/planned or unwanted/unplanned). While I have not yet identified source material that directly evidences that naturally-derived embryos have already been placed on the blockchain, I suggest that the application of datafied and gamified blockchained strategies to all reproduction (across all species, not just human) may be forthcoming in the foreseeable future. Within this emerging paradigm, the bio-cyberneticists may care very little about the definition of life, and how and when it begins or ends; but, rather, they may be most concerned about barcoding, bankrolling, and tokenizing the result, such that commodified, interoperable, and blockchained data (on which to hedge bets) begins to take on life via cybernetic conception, development, and reproduction (see Figure 4 here) — usurping natural life in the process.

Data, itself, represents life in the Machine (regardless of whether or not that life ever truly existed tangibly in the flesh), and it is precisely this quantified data that will exhibit meaning — immutably and eternally — with no regard for the intrinsic immortality of the human spirit (nor the spirit of any living organism). It is for this reason that my essay focuses on the human capital element of the 4IR. It seems apparent, as the 4IR emerges in full (nonconsensual) force, that humans (and all living beings) will be perceived as digitally entangled data to train the emergent AI, and to be exploited as commodities — no different than any object produced and distributed on a supply chain.  

In July 2020, I examined the transhumanist (AKA Humanity+) agenda, and specifically, the Global Brain, providing a link to a related discussion with Ben Goertzel (CEO and founder of SingularityNET). Nearly two years later, the Global Brain has become my research focus, as it seems all crypto roads and bio-nanotechnology avenues lead to this synthetic symbiosis agenda.

The SCOTUS initial draft majority opinion to presumably strike down Roe v. Wade was “leaked” on May 2, 2022 (see here and here). Incidentally, this was less than a week prior to Mother’s Day. Curious timing. I could not help but consider how this (controlled?) leak may be involved with signals intelligence (SIGINT) and information warfare (see Endnote 1).

The following day, May 3, 2022 (when many Twitter accounts were buzzing about this revelation), a succinct tweet was posted to the account of Monty C. M. Metzger, CEO and Founder of LCX — a digital currency trading venue:

“The Future Will Be Tokenized.”

Guest post: The Layered Deception Called Religion

INTRODUCTION

The machinery that the international bankers and mercantile elite have been creating and maintaining for generations to control and change this world is based on a few basic principles of competition and cooperation, among others; but the lower you get in the echelons of this machine, the more diverse the elaboration of these principles becomes, and the more the mechanisms and interrelationships change like a kaleidoscope.

The only way to form a picture of this world of closely interwoven power structures is to learn to separate the wheat from the chaff and to glean all the pieces of the puzzle bit by bit from a multitude of information written from a multitude of angles.

In studying this subject, it is good to keep in mind that there are works written by persons who are trying to look in from the outside, works written by persons who are accepted but not initiated members, and initiated members whose works belong in the limited hangout category without exception.

Thus far my imaging is far from complete, and there is undoubtedly much to polish. I have started to write down my perceptions in the hope that this will provide a basis for anyone who seriously investigates this subject. I hope for positive contributions from those who are prepared to put their own views next to mine and to weigh them up against each other and add to them.

I can say with certainty now … Sage of Quay is disinfo

The above video, from which I listened only to the opening minutes, is currently running on YouTube. Quay, whose real name is Mike Williams, goes on ad nauseum about “Billy,” or Billy Shears, who he says replaced Paul McCartney, whom be believes is now dead. Blah blah blah. Williams has done other work which I find credible about authorship of the music and use of instrument tracks where the Beatles, like the Monkees, only supplied vocal tracks.  He also mentions there being perhaps more than one John Lennon (which I could never nail down).

Anyway, I put up a comment under the video urging people to view childhood photos of “Paul,” a set of twins. I carefully explained how Paul and Mike had interchanged with each other in the early years and up to and including Wings. I urged that they watch Give My Regards to Broadstreet, where both Paul and Mike are easily distinguished. Within minutes, my comment was taken down, most likely by Williams. In other words, he knows whats up, and is paid to misdirect. That’s how I see it.

Ruby Ridge mention of POM by MM

Remember, Fauxlex was involved in that embarrassing slander against me at Peace of Mindful in 2018, when they claimed I was a pedophile with an ankle bracelet driving around in a golf cart because I wasn’t allowed to have a car. Mark Tokarski, the owner of that site, has since apologized to me for that, and even asked me to work with him, so if you run into Fauxlex (fake law), you might ask him why he is hiding behind a fake name and continuing the slander after his previous comrade has admitted it was just slander.

I do not recall Fauxlex having any role in the piece MM is referring to above. I think he came aboard later, and got pissed and left all outside the time frame of that piece. I did not know he was still writing. On leaving he said that I had just lost my best writer. I told him no, that Tyrone was on sabbatical, maybe never to return. Who knows.

Make it so

Years ago, when I lived in Bozeman, Montana, something was going on at the federal level regarding Social Security that inspired me to organize a meeting, and to publicize that meeting on radio. I was quite the activist. It was nerve wracking, as I had no idea what the turnout would be. The subject of the meeting was the viability of the Social Security Trust Fund, and of Social Security itself. I was not receiving benefits, but since I was a wonk, I was steeped in numbers regarding the Trust Fund. I did not understand at that time that that Trust Fund was nothing more than a plot device crafted to create the illusion that benefits were threatened, and to convince young people that Social Security would not be there for them when they retired. Overall, the big picture was a movement behind corrupt senators like our then entrenched Baucus and Burns that Wall Street should be in charge of our retirements, and that the concept of “defined benefit” needed to be replaced by “defined contribution”. (If you do not understand either of those terms, now is the time to get up to speed. They are critical.)

The group I used was called “Wonderlust,” and the meeting was a huge success, even drawing a wonk from Washington to act as monitor and inspiring a huge turnout with older people asking and demanding answers to intelligent questions. What a relief! I feared a cricket fest. But to this day I regret my own lack of understanding of the nature of Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, and all of our “entitlements”.
