Reminder: American Elections are Fraudulent

Just a quick tidbit for readers here about the American Super Tuesday elections held last night (also, a reminder to check out Mark’s excellent piece from yesterday on Bill Maher). An unbelievable thing happened yesterday in the American Super Tuesday primary elections, and as always…the American public is asleep at the wheel. What happened, do you ask? Well it turns out, somehow the betting markets became aware that Joe Biden was going to sweep Super Tuesday BEFORE ANY RESULTS WERE REPORTED. You heard that right. The betting market became aware of Biden’s huge night before Biden’s huge night actually occurred. The uptick in Biden’s odds was extremely sharp and sudden, which only happens based on game-changing information, yet there was no such information on the surface. This kind of activity, sudden and precipitous and immediately preceding the event itself, does not happen unless the fix is known to be in.

In a country with legitimately free and fair elections and media, this would immediately be reported as a scandal. Of course, that is not what is actually going to happen. The media will keep their eyes wide shut.

Coronavirus is an opportunity for investors

I generally have no time for TV “doctors” who go by their first name, Dr. Phil, for instance, a total fraud, and here, Dr. Drew. So I listened reluctantly and then with pleasant surprise as he told the members of a TV panel that the press needs to shut up about Cornonavirus. It’s a mild respiratory infection that has probably infected hundreds of thousands of us. Thanks to people like Michael Crichton and Stephen King, we are always on the lookout for a pandemic that is going to kill half of us.

Coronavirus Doctor Li Wenliang Did Not Exist

Readers might already know that I was on the trail of this one, and I think it is worthy of its own post. Last week, the doctor who was known as the “whistleblower” on the Chinese coronavirus was reported to have died from the virus. The red flags surrounding this death are redder than the Chinese flag is red. Something fishy absolutely happened here, and below I will explore what I believe we have witnessed: Li Wenliang did not exist (or if he did, he was a state agent and most certainly did not die of the coronavirus). Michael Mann, of Hockey Stock infamy, is in Australia, and as usual is littering the landscape with nonsensical statements about the fate of our planet. He said

“Australia’s Wildfire Catastrophe Isn’t the “New Normal.” It’s Much Worse Than That.  … These are the things that keep us up at night as climate scientists.”

Queensland Senator Malcolm Roberts had enough of it, and gave a speech on the floor of the Australian Parliament which is reprinted in full beneath the fold. It’s to the point: Mann has no evidence of anything, and never has. Hardly anyone calls him out on it.

Coronavirus Scare Tactics

This is not a full post, but rather just a reminder to readers to not be suckered in by the fear tactics in the media surrounding the Chinese Coronavirus. All available data suggests a fatality rate below 1%. You should be much more afraid of the regular old flu! They should call it Coronavirus because to get over it, you should kick back and enjoy a Corona or two…

 

The lead OJ actor has a new gig

I have not paid much attention to the Trump impeachment proceedings, assuming it is all a sideshow complete with clowns and carnival barkers. It could be that something real is in store, as Trump is, like all presidents before, just an actor. In my worst imaginings, he is set up to act as controlled opposition in the Climate Change game and will take all of the remarkable skeptical community down with him.

Climate Change is one of the biggest hoaxes I have seen, and I have lived through McCarthyism, the assassinations of the 1960s, The Cold War, The Missile Crisis, The Iran Hostage event, Jonestown, the Iraq Wars (including the alleged starving of hundreds of thousands of Iraqi kids and old people), the Soviet Collapse, AIDS,  911, the 2000 election, and, oh yeah, I almost forgot, Bill Hicks’ cancer death. Commenters will add to this list no doubt. In the end, we might have 33 or more major hoaxes.

What Keeps Montana’s Timber Industry Alive: Is it Socialism or Fascism?

In the not so recent past Montana’s private logging contractors and saw-mill owners operated predominantly on privately-owned lands.  The old growth was “high-graded” (stripped off), and much of that land was sold off to the federal government and real estate corporations (REITs).  In other words, after the easy-to-access, high-value old growth on private land was liquidated, the timber industry has been going through a structural transition (merger, acquisition, liquidation) for decades. This is the trend. Mills have closed, workforce numbers declined, and the “timber economy” in Montana and other Northern Rockies states has trended downward, with no end in sight. 

A significant portion of all wood-fiber production has relocated to the Southeastern states for a variety of quite logical, ecological and economic reasons.

Perpetual War Seems Real To Me

I’ve been struggling to find a way to make sense of the increasingly frequent opinions/comments here at POM that propose, with little or no evidence, that America’s foreign wars are staged; essentially fake.

I offer one piece of evidence to refute this notion. The eyewitness account in the above link seems genuine enough to me. The author has a lifetime of first-hand knowledge and a consistent anti-war message offered to all who will listen.

So, I offer this as a challenge to the proponents of “wars are not real” to post some evidence of their own. I am open to changing my mind, but not based solely on the opinion of anyone that can’t bring a few tidbits of reality that we may all examine.

In the meantime, I will repeat my pathetically ineffective call for “No More Endless War.”

Great Balls of Fire

This year the combination of solstice, Christmas and New Year pushed the limits of our quiet and peace here on the West bench of the Bridger Mountain Range, Montana. Beloved house guests stayed a few days too long. Then a second wave came rather unexpectedly to replace the first bunch. Cooking for a group, instead of the usual two. Remaining courteous. Deferring, for whatever idiotic reason. It’s all part of the game, I suppose. Too much of a good thing.

Well, as one can hardly avoid all media when guests are in the house, there will be blood. We have right-wingers and left-wingers, and everything in between. One story that broke really frayed the edges of civility — the “White Helmets” and Syrian (Assad) “gassing civilians.”

If you are at all attune to hoaxes, it is revealing. Greta Thunberg in the (professionally staged) photo above looks forlorn, sitting with baggage at the doorway of a rail car as she rides through Germany. As Deutsche Bahn, the operator of the railway, Tweeted after Greta made her suffering public …

“Dear #Greta, thank you for supporting our railway in the fight against climate change! We are happy that you travelled with us in the ICE 174. And that with 100 percent eco electricity. It would have been even better if you had also mentioned how friendly and competent the team [was that] looked after you in your seat in First Class.”
